If you would like to donate your extra seeds, whether they're commercial seeds, heirloom seeds, seeds you've collected from your own garden, or even old commercial seeds - please let us know! We're willing to take any kind right now (herb, vegetable, flower, tomato, etc. - so long as it's legal and non-invasive). Please make sure all donated seeds are properly labeled!
Each seed variety should include the name and type (ex. "Green Zebra, Tomato"), as well as the date it was harvested (commercial packets have a date printed on them, home gardeners with home-grown seeds - please let us know what year the seeds are from). Though not required, we ask that if you are donating seeds from a source other than a commercial packet, that you include information on the variety (ex. "grew four feet tall, requires a trellis, heavy production of 4-inch long green beans"). If you don't know the variety, a photo and/or detailed description would be very helpful! Please send donated seeds in a bubble mailer or a box. Seeds sent in an envelope tend to get crushed in transit.
